Day 130

Another spider. This one was huge and IN OUR HOUSE. We made Nino catch it in the jar for a little bit and then we outside.

Hi I'm Niko and I'm a big boy. This makes Mommy really sad. I like to smell the roses and race Nino. I always win.

Day 128

As soon as Niko woke up we took his clothes off. He sat like this for a while before we read some books. He looks just like his Nino when he's speaking profanities about the heat.

Day 127

We had a fun morning with Carrie ("Cawee"). Niko loves her. He was bouncing off the walls (literally) to show off for her.

Day 126

It was a morning of bug hunting. Nana caught Gary the grasshopper and then Niko and I found the spider (which he also named Gary). Yuck.

(This is Niko's favorite song right now. He was singing it last night at dinner and I had no idea what it was. Finally, we found a video on YouTube and we sang it allllllll night.)

Day 121

A certain almost-2-year-old decided to throw up as we got to school so this is how we spent our day instead. Tigger, Niko (who's starting to match Tigger), and I went to the train station to watch the trains, and then to the library to make as much noise as we possibly could instead of finding fun books.

Day 119

We went to the San Diego Zoo with Courtney and Ethan. It was hot, but a lot of animals came out to play. Of course I forgot my camera so this is the best that I got.

Day 118

Niko, Tigger, and I went for an hour-long walk around the block. We had to collect pinecones and wave at the UPS man, of course. When we got back home we found the Mickey Halloween costume in a big package. (Probably from the UPS man). Niko liked it when I put it around my ankles and put the squeaky ears on my head, but he didn't want it anywhere near him. We bribed him with some m&m's and he put it on for about a minute. Good thing we have over a month till Halloween!

Day 117

Niko likes to give Tigger rides on his shoulders. This is a nice break from us carrying Niko on our shoulders, which was literally starting to break my neck. He was playing baseball this afternoon, using Nino as the tee. Tigger watched. :)

Niko is also modeling his brand new CSULA shirt from Mom. He likes the eagle and he looks extra cute in it.

Day 115

Niko helped Hector fix Nino's bike. He thought it was really interesting to use a wrench and he got really mad at Hector for riding Nino's bike. Niko took Tigger for a ride on the skateboard. At first, he put Tigger on the skateboard but then he thought about it for a second and said, "No Teeeger! My kateboard!!"

Day 114

Niko did very well today with the characters. He didn't cry, which is a big improvement. He also found a new friend named Tigger who shared his dinner with him.
